First Post

I feel like I'm jumping on the bandwagon here, but in the name of keeping in touch with everyone, I'm starting a blog. Facebook has been a pretty good avenue for keeping up with people, but there are definitely things I'd rather not share with the random kid I knew from 3rd grade who "Facebook friended" me. Yes, I realize that most people just pick up the phone to keep in touch...however, I was not very good about that before starting residency and it's only getting worse as my free time has been reduced to about an hour a day. Even eating and peeing has become an inconvenience lately because, dang it, I just don't have time for that! Besides, call me a blog stalker, but I look forward to reading my friends' blogs...maybe you all will feel the same about mine :-) Also, I figure this is a good place to post pictures of the house, baby belly and Baby Reader.
